I just checked- there's no record of that case on the Ninth Circuit's website. Was it definitely issued 12/27/10?

Hi- thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you find my blog useful! Regarding your question, I have only purposefully omitted a case once in a little over a year- but there is still a record of it. A person involved in the case asked me to take it down for confidentiality reasons- the entry only says K v. Holder and there is no link to the Ninth Circuit. This is not the case you are referring to, however. I was backed up for a few days over the holidays so I will go back and check for that case- thanks for bringing to my attention! It's been my goal to catalog every Ninth Circuit immigration case since I started the blog and have it up w/in 24 hours of being published, so I definitely want to make sure cases don't fall through the cracks!

Hi I read your blog daily and I think its a wonderful resource! I'm wondering if you ever decide to omit certain cases from the blog? I was looking for a particular unpublished 9th Cir. decision Kapoor v. Holder, issued on Dec. 27, 2010, but was unable to find it... Please let me know.
Thank you!!

I'm not sure what the average time is. In the past year, I've had decisions come back anywhere from three months to six months, although I also have one that I've been waiting for since February!

I just came across your blog while looking for the X-M-C- decision. Though I am about 98% retired now, I still do some pro bono stuff and teach a seminar in immigration law for the Immigrant Legal Resource Center in San Francisco. Your site is fabulous resource, not only because it calls attention to up to date cases, but because your summaries are written in such clear, easy to understand language that gets right to the heart of the particular issue.
A marvelous improvement over other sources. I will be recommending your blog to others.
